Disability Support Worker

Location: Remote Field-Based | Type: Full-time/Part-time | Deadline: July 25, 2025

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide person-centered assistance to individuals with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities. Your role will help empower clients to live as independently and fully as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living activities (e.g., personal care, mobility, meals)
• Monitor client wellbeing and report changes or incidents
• Follow individual care plans and behavior support strategies
• Respect and promote client dignity, privacy, and choices at all times

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with people with disabilities or vulnerable populations
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
• Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility support
• Valid driver’s license is an advantage (for outreach roles)
